About Us

Our Mission

University of Maryland Extension Master Gardeners of Baltimore City offers scheduled presentations on many topics at community places across Baltimore where you can learn sustainable lawn and gardening practices that suit your neighborhood. At Ask a Master Gardener plant clinics we’ll guide you to figure out what’s ailing your plants; provide all types of gardening advice and recommendations; answer questions; and provide printed information on a variety of gardening subjects. Through our Grow It, Eat It initiative, Master Gardener volunteers can help you plan a vegetable garden and grow your own food.
