            Volunteer opportunities are designated as:  #: name of opportunity; for example,  #8 DIG Garden
            Education opportunities are designated as EDU: opportunity; for example, EDU: Backyard Gardening Series
Additional calendar entries from our Community Partners may or may not count as volunteer or education hours.

Donations

Anyone can now donate online via Eventbrite
If you are mailing a check into the office, checks or money orders should be made to the University of Maryland. On the memo line, please write BCMG Donation. 
We also acknowledge In-Kind donations. The form will be coming soon and it will be emailed to Baltcitymg.boardtreasurer@gmail.com. We will email acknowledgments letters quarterly. 

Board of Advisors Meetings

These are monthly meetings held on the second Wednesday of the month on zoom and are open to every Baltimore City Master Gardeners and Interns . Please email Communications for the zoom link.  You can count this meeting a volunteer hours and allow BCMGs and Interns to connect with one another on upcoming projects, get updates from the Baltimore City Master Gardener Board of Advisers and the UME Master Gardener Coordinator for Baltimore City

These meetings are also when BCMGs select the slate for executive committee members every October. The Executive Committee is made up of the President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.  Each agrees to serve a 1-year term, and may not serve more than three 1-year terms. Nominations for these positions happen in September and the general membership votes at the November Speaker series or online.

Continuing Education Speaker Series

On third Tuesdays in the spring and fall the BCMGs offer a Speaker Series which counts as continuing education in VMS. Presentations are organized by the BCMG Vice President and are held in the Cylburn Classroom or on Zoom. Check the calendar above for information.
